Origin of Virgo:

The Virgin Goddess Astraea being associated with purity found earth so imperfect that she abandoned earth for the heaven where she lives to this day. The constellation she formed was named Virgo.

Virgo at a glance:

Virgo is the 6th sign in the zodiac. They are the second earth sign and the second sign with mercury as planet.
Normally very analytical, careful and orderly, but mostly underestimated. They need a systematic approach to life and its problems.
Only certain forms of humor appeal to them and they do have a grounding effect on other signs. light side to bring them down to earth. Although, they can be highly selective and discriminating to a fault, they are the healers and helpers of the world. They can be secretive in what they conceal and what they reveal. Their inner world is not so much a dreamy one as they tend to rather life by analyzing, solving and assessing. They have the ability to see people and their problems as it is and normally hit the nail right on the head about what is going on in a person's life. The future is a big thing for them and they can plan very far in advance if you let them. They like to look after people but can become too much sometimes as they try and run your life totally for you. Interesting they do not always know what to do with their own life's. Not just their life but yours as well. They love to plan and work towards goals. Although they do like travel and some spontaneity or improvised arrangements, there will normally be some underlying structure and advanced planning to it. They have a knack of speaking the truth even when it is not always the right thing to say and thus can sometimes be seen as rude. They do like to help others by using their talents and as such make great family members and co-workers. They can contribute greatly to their group. They do however sometimes tend to take things literally, so if you promise them something they will expect returns. Although fond of wordplay and wit, they can dampen their humor with literalism. They like a good drama and can become good drama queens if they want to. They do tend to make silent demands and expect their needs to be met without saying what they are. Virgo is normally modest, even prudish, but may start to adopt a conventional approach and show their feelings without restraint. However, the freedom they grant themselves is not to extent to their loved ones and never to get out of control.

Leo-Virgo cusp

This cusp if normally very secretive, but can be extroverts. Even those being secret like to one day just reveal all rather to the shock of others. light side or bad. They have the ability to know when to do what as they have a great sense of timing. They are masters of communication and know when to talk and when not to.
They have an ability to get what they want in very subtle or dramatic ways as they choose. If one way does not work they just switch over to a totally different technique. light side at logical thought but less sensual. They do lack a bit of feeling and this can put them out of touch with their own and others deeper emotions.
Finding a balance between their fiery, energetic and aggressive Leo nature and their rational, meticulous and secretive Virgo nature can be a problem for them. They wish to bring hidden matters out when in a relationship and have discussions on it.

If you hide yourself away you are to blame not the world. Unless you show your talents they will not be know so show more of yourself and who you are like. Take care in not keeping to many secrets and
allow others a space in your heart and life. Share your emotions a bit more with friends and loved ones. Be more open without making yourself venerable.

Virgo 1

Being generally strait forward and direct, the Virgo 1 are normally very successful if applying their talents to serving others. When using their talents solely for their own ends they not very likely to succeed. They do however make very good partners and co-workers or business associates. Not much driven by ego and more likely to be seen behind the scenes and in teamwork to accomplish a common goal. If choosing to work alone they may become lonely and isolated from others. They are able to work selfless and alone for long periods of time with very little material rewards. Here they need to guard from being used by others. They do not easily give up for they have the ability to overcome many obstacles. They have the ability to use previously learned experience to solve new technical problems. They can follow a very strict system and needs to guard against making their lives to ridged and inflexible. They need as parents also guard against setting to strict rules for their children.  They can be very good friends, especially in times of need as they are normally very dependable. But again they need to guard against being used by others. They normally have a love for writing and communication by can have a one tract mind where they fixate on one idea or solution and loose sight of the bigger picture or alternative solutions. They may then delve so deep into this solution and commit so much energy and time into it before they realize there was an easier or better alternative. They have a tendency to not be able to make long lasting relationships, thus when they do make a friend they may smother the person and obsessively latch on to them.

Let things be as they will a little bit more, accept life for what it is. Try not to bring your work home and your home to work. Let others do things a bit more for themselves and demand that they stand a bit more on their own feet. Do not let others use you and sponge on you.

Virgo 2

Virgo 2 people are paradoxical and often so mysterious that it makes them very hard to understand and explain. They often find themselves struggling alone on a highly personal quest that others cannot comprehend and that are difficult to explain. They have a very powerful and intellectual mind that suits them well for the scientific, technical or highly expertise field of work. They love to work to and maintain a high standard in their lives. People around them may have difficulty living up to their standards and this can cause problems between them. They have a tendency to repeat their childhood onto their children and can be a problem if they where rejected or denied love as a child. This is something they need to guard against doing to their children or even partner. They can be to demanding on themselves when looking after their children, bringing themselves to breaking point. They are generally agreeable in nature and can be mistaken for being an easy pushover, but you will soon find it different when you cross them. Normally blessed with good looks.

Be a little more flexible and compromising in your standards to others. Not every one operates to your high standards and is a perfectionist. It is also not always necessary to do things perfect, finding fun in doing something is sometimes more important than doing it perfect, especially if you do it with a loved one. Learning to be gentle and kind will take you a long way forward in live.

Virgo 3

Virgo 3 people are often only in it for themselves and not shy to demand what they want. Their focus is more on what suits them than others. The serving side of Virgo is falling away here as we move closer to the Libra influence. This is not to say that they are cold and unloving, they do need love and affection. They are just much more picky in what they accept and have very high standards. They risk coming of as discriminating as to others and need to be a little bit more forgiving and accepting towards others. They tend to have difficulty dealing with emotions and can tend to take things literally and personally. This can knock them totally of track if a highly emotional event occurs in their lives un-expectantly, like a sudden death or breakup. They normally do not have much sympathy towards others and their cause and can often despise self-pity and lack of self-criticism. They can be very hard on those that are not strict on themselves and over indulge or revel in self-pity. But this is nothing compared to the hatred they have for those that have betrayed them or have sabotaged their plans.  Even if they do not seek revenge or retribution, you know you are history to them. They do tend to love neatness and order, coupled with advanced planning they can be sometimes ruthless in implementing their plans. Using manipulation and strait out demand to get what they want. With this in mind, when they choose a companion they rarely stray, but note that they often demand the same level of contribution from their partner and may risk controlling or trying to control their partners in life.

Try to be a little bit more sympathetic towards others and their feelings. Accept others more as they are and try not to control and change them to what you want them to be. Be careful of just going for what you want and possibly burning your bridges behind you and alienating friends. Come out and play a little.

Virgo-Libra Cusp

Virgo people are normally attracted to beauty and objects of desire. They love to make things more aesthetically appealing. Virgo-Libra cusp people are very concerned with details and this makes them ideal in running a business or project. They are however very concerned with the outward appearance of things. This can lead them to be seen as superficial and ego seeking.

Be a little less concerned with appearance and material gain seeking. Do not forget the spiritual goals and growth and try to stress a little less. Have a bit more fun and relax a bit more. Try not to be too trendy and forgetting your own self just to fit in.
